The aim of these walks is to help improve the health and wellbeing of the residents of Woking. They are part of the national Walking for Health Scheme which aims to encourage people of all ages to take part in local walks, and are hosted by Next Steps in Woking.
The walks are free and open to anyone wanting to join other walkers and enjoy the outdoors, get fit, and generally have good sociable time!
The walks last for about an hour, are on fairly flat ground, and always finish back at the starting point.
The walks take place every Wednesday (10.45am for a 11.00am start), meeting by The Lightbox reception area.
On the first Wednesday of each month there will be a special walk from a different start point, so that we can explore the wider Woking area. Either meet at the Lightbox at 10.45am for directions or a lift, or go directly to the start point for 11am. For details of the start point for the monthly special walk go to our Diary page.
