4th – Special Walk
Walk around Horsell Common starting at the Sands at Bleak House on Chertsey Road – GU21 5NL. Meet in pub car park at 11:15 for 11:30 start. After the walk, those that are interested can join us for lunch at the pub where we’ve arranged a reduced price menu of £9.99 per head for 2 courses. Please inform Lindsay ASAP if you’re attending the lunch.
11th – A gentle stroll along the tow path to St. Mary’s Church, Horsell
Meet at the Lightbox at 10:45 to leave at 11. You’re welcome to join us for coffee at the Lightbox after the walk.
18th – H.G. Wells Walk, Woking
This walk takes in some of the iconic symbols and locations relating to the late author H.G. Wells, a local celebrity. We may end the walk with a drink or coffee at O’Neills. Meet at the Lightbox at 10:45 to leave at 11.
25th – ANZAC Day!
A walk with Dave Hill around Goldsworth Park and the Basingstoke Canal. Dave will take us on a “mystery tour” around different routes of the park (stay close!). For those that want to, we can stay for coffee & an ANZAC biscuit at St. Andrews Church café. Lunch can also be provided by the café if required. Meet at Waitrose car park by St. Andrews Church at 10:45 for 11 am start.
